In a horrifying incident, a 40-year-old elephant in Tamil Nadu died after being subjected to cruelty at the hands of men who set him on fire. According to reports, they threw a burning piece of tyre to chase the elephant away, which got stuck in his ear and he ran away in distress. The incident took place in Masinagudi in the Nilgiris. After the elephant ran away, he was found by the forest rangers with severe burn injuries on the back and ear. Sadly, the elephant succumbed to his injuries while being transported to a medical facility for treatment to the Theppakadu elephant camp. According to the Senior official of the Masinagudi Tiger Reserve, three men identified as Prasath, Raymond Dean and Ricky Raya are responsible for the incident. While two have been nabbed, the third man is yet to be caught.     Warning: Graphic Content. A video of the incident went viral and people demand that these perpetrators be met with strict action.

After receiving ample complaints about the political drama, the Ministry of Information and  Broadcasting has directed the makers of ‘Tandav’ to delete the controversial scenes. This is for the first time that changes have been implemented in the content of an OTT release. Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar’s debut web-series ‘Tandav’ has found itself in a middle of controversy pool, after a section of people alleged that it hurt their religious sentiments. After receiving ample complaints about the political drama, the Ministry of Information and  Broadcasting has directed the makers of ‘Tandav’ to delete the controversial scenes. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar starrer Bachchan Pandey is all set to release on January 26 next year, the actor has confirmed in an Instagram post from his verified account. He made the announcement with a still from the film and in the caption revealed the release date for the film. New Delhi:  India and China will hold the  9th round of corps commander level military talks  on Sunday to resolve the ongoing standoff between the two nuclear-powered countries in Eastern Ladakh. The military talks between the two sides are expected to begin at around 9.30 AM in  Moldo opposite the Chushul sector  on the Indian side of the border on Sunday. The military talks between the two sides come after more than two months. The last round (8th round) of talks took place on 6th November.   The latest round of talks will take place several months after the standoff at the  Line of Actual Control began in Eastern Ladakh. The border standoff that started in April/May last year intensified after the Galwan incident in June during which 20 Indian soldiers died and an undisclosed number of Chinese troops died in bloody man-to-man combat.   China has so far stayed mum about the casualties suffered by its military during the  Galwan Valley clashes.
