Photo: Getty At forty-six, CM Punk is aware that his career as an in-ring competitor is coming to an end. It's not, however, as soon as his critics may believe. Even at this age, he is swift and strong, and Punk has a lot of goals he wants to achieve before hanging up his boots.  This was Punk's sole opening statement for Monday Night RAW's broadcast last night. First, a very upset and depressed punk addressed his opponents persuasively, responding to their criticism of McIntyre's actions. He claimed that when people asked him when he would retire, he would often respond in a way that would startle them. "People have occasionally asked me, 'How many matches do I have left in these old ...

At a Johannesburg Clinique Concept Store workshop, Tatjana talked about how she sets her own standards for beauty and how she has continued to feel comfortable in swimwear over the years. "There are things you can put in place, but it's still a challenge every day," she remarked in an interview with the news outlet IOL. For me, it was during photo shoots since I feel more at ease dressing up and concealing myself. The outfit is required for the sport; it is not a choice. India vs England: Virat Kohli one century away from surpassing Ricky Ponting and creating world record

India captain Virat Kohli will be on the verge of surpassing former Australia captain Ricky Ponting and creating a world record when he steps out to bat in the upcoming third Test against England at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. Kohli has scored two fifties in the series but has not been able to convert it to a hundred yet. The right-handed batsman has not scored a century since the Day/Night Test against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens in Kolkata in November 2019. He has played 10 innings since then, but is yet to reach triple figures.   If Kohli gets a ton in the pink-ball Test, he would be crossing Ponting in the list of captains with most international hundreds. It would be Kohli’s 42nd international ton as captain, the highest by any player in the world. It would be Kohli’s 28th Test hundred. Currently, both Ponting and Kohli are tied at the top position in the list with 41 centuries to their name. The four-match Test series is currently levelled at 1-1 after India won the...

India pull off stunning win over Australia to seal series – as it happened

A truly remarkable end to a scarcely believable series. The record books will show India winning by three wickets in Brisbane and retaining the Border-Gavaskar Trophy courtesy of a 2-1 series verdict, but the bare facts tell none of the story. This was a win for the ages by India, one that will be trumpeted on the subcontinent as possibly their greatest in Test history. At no stage did they have anything going for them. Australia had not lost at the Gabba since 1988. India were beset by injuries. No team had scored anything like 329 to win a Test match in Brisbane. India didn’t even have to win, a draw being enough for the visitors to retain series honours as the current holders of the trophy. But India batted to a plan on the final day of the final Test, getting home with three overs to spare to seal a triumph that will live long in the memory. India have showed immense courage and character this series, especially after being skittled for an all-time low of 36 in Adelaide, but today ...
