"Touching it is not permitted." After posing with Manu Bhaker's medal, John Abraham receives trolling

Manu Bhaker, a professional shooter who won two bronze medals at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, arrived back in India to much excitement and warm reception from her fellow citizens.

The athlete met several Indian celebrities after her return, one of them being John Abraham.

Using social media, John posted a photo of herself with Manu and wrote, "Enjoyed getting to know @bhakermanu and her beautiful family." She has brought pride to India! With respect.

Social media users weren't pleased with the photo, though, since John could be seen clutching one of her bronze medals while she was posing with another.

One user insulted John by writing, "You shouldn't have touched the medal."

In response, another user wrote, "John bhai konsa medal jita?"

"All about movie release you don't even have right to touch to the medal," said a third user, accusing John of meeting Manu Bhaker in order to promote his next movie.

“Learn to respect the Olympic Medal,” penned a fourth user. You have no right to handle that priceless object.
