Since then, the telecom service provider under government control has drawn notice for its affordable long- and short-term plans.

There has been a lot of talk lately about the nation's impending 4G and 5G networks from BSNL, which are expected to bring new developments in connection for its customers. Here are some things you should be aware of regarding the Indian government's impending technology.

Recently, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia tested BSNL's 5G network and used it to make the first successful video call. The minister expressed excitement about this development and said that the deployment for users might occur shortly (timeframe not mentioned). To further heighten the suspense, a second video highlighting BSNL's 5G capabilities has been making the rounds on social media in addition to this announcement.
