Fall is officially here as August draws to a close, which means that in September, Amazon Prime Video will release a brand-new collection of films.
These movies are worth adding to your watch list, regardless of your preference for crime thrillers, sci-fi fantasy, or thrilling action flicks that keep you on the edge of your seat. TheWrap wanted to draw your attention to the top films on Prime Video's September slate, even though there are many more movies than just these seven.

The case's investigator, Nick Curran (Michael Douglas), is tricked by a mysterious and stunning crime author named Catherine Tramell (Sharon Stone) who is suspected of killing a rock star. She does this by luring him into a passionate, passionate romance that makes his work more difficult. Amidst all of that, further victims come to light, and it seems that more individuals in Nick's support network are involved in the killing.

The main character of this horror-mystery film is Allison Lohman's Christine Brown, who is cursed after turning down an elderly woman's request to have her home loan extended. What was once a contented life with a devoted lover (Justin Long) turns into a terrifying quest to discover the means of removing the curse. She finds out she will have to pay a high price to save her soul when she goes to a psychic for assistance.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is one of the options available on Prime Video for those wishing to watch something the whole family can enjoy. Four sewer turtles are transformed into anthropomorphic ninjas who fight crime in this New York-set story. Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo, and Raphael have to defeat a rebellious villain who is destroying the town with the help of their rat sensei, Splinter.

Two police officers, Dwight "Bucky" Bleichert (Josh Hartnett) and Lee Blanchard (Aaron Eckhart), are tasked with looking into the death of Hollywood star Elizabeth Short (Mia Kirshner) in the film "The Black Dahlia." But in order to solve the murder, the men will need to regain their composure and moral compass when one becomes preoccupied with a wealthy woman who might be related to the crime, while the other grows overly fixated on the case.

As the massive riots in Los Angeles, 2028 continue, a number of thieves take sanctuary in a 13-story, members-only hospital for criminals run by Jodie Foster, a sharp-witted nurse who is also tending to three other patients. Hospital or not, murder and bloodshed still abound, and The Nurse has to choose whether to stick to the guidelines she has always followed or take a different tack.

Tracey Flick (Reese Witherspoon) is a bubbly, driven, and dishonest teenager.
