Bigg Boss 14 ex-contestant Sonali Phogat gets robbed off Rs 10 lakh and valuables

On Tuesday (February 16), Bigg Boss 14 ex-contestant and BJP leader Sonali Phogat’s house in Haryana (Hisar) was robbed and valuables like jewellery, a licensed revolver and ₹10 lakh rupees were stolen. Sonali has filed a complaint and she said that the theft took place when she was in Chandigarh.

 

Sonali’s house is under surveillance as there are CCTV cameras surrounding it. But, unfortunately, the robbers took the digital video recorder (DVR) that contained footage, informed the police. HTM Station House Officer (SHO) Sukhjit told PTI that the case is currently being probed.

 

Sonali informed in her complaint that gold and silverware, a silver pot, Rs 10 lakh cash, jewellery, a .22 bore licensed pistol, and eight cartridges were missing from her house in Sant Nagar. According to a report by PTI, the officials informed, that Sonali was away in Chandigarh when the theft took place and on her return to Hisar on 15 February, she discovered that she has been robbed as the locks of her house were broken.

 

Sonali had contested the 2019 assembly polls from the Adampur seat against Congress leader Kuldeep Bishnoi, son of former Haryana chief minister, late Bhajan Lal but she was unsuccessful. She made quite a buzz with her stint in the Bigg Boss 14. She entered the house as a wild card entrant but she was soon evicted within weeks due to fewer votes.
