Coronavirus patient alleges being 'kept next to bodies' at Delhi hospital

A Video Has Surfaced On Social Media In Which A Coronavirus Patient Has Alleged That He Was Kept On A Bed “next To Dead Bodies” At A Hospital Here, A Charge Refuted By Authorities At The Facility.

A video has surfaced on social media in which a coronavirus patient has alleged that he was kept on a bed “next to dead bodies” at a hospital here, a charge refuted by authorities at the facility. The video circulating on WhatsApp and other networking platforms shows a man, wearing a mask, who apparently shot the video inside the ward of LNJP Hospital where he is admitted.

In the video, he alleges that he was kept on a bed in a ward that had “dead bodies next to his bed” and that he was not getting good on time. LNJP authorities refuted the allegations, saying, this patient “required psychotherapy and counselling that was arranged for him. He is currently being attended to by specialists in the field”.

There was no problem of food or water in that particular ward or any other ward of the hospital, a senior official of the hospital said. “The issue of him being in the midst of dead bodies also appears to be incorrect as there has been no death reported from ward 27 on that day or the day prior to that,” the official said. The LNJP is a dedicated COVID-19 facility in Delhi, run by the city government.

No coronavirus death has been reported in Delhi in the last three days. In response to reports that nurses at the neighbouring GB Pant Hospital were not getting adequate facilities, and health kit was not being provided to a staff who came in contact with a COVID-19 patient, authorities said, the issue of the nursing staff of GB Pant Hospital has been resolved. “Immediate contacts of the COVID-positive patient have been provided suitable accommodation at GB Pant Hospital’s nursing home and upgraded food facility has also been arranged for them,” the official said.

This latest Pixel Watch update from Google is a bit of a jumble

Joe Maring / Digital Trends The Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2 now have the Wear OS 5 upgrade available from Google. Nevertheless, the update has caused problems for a few customers. Fortunately, it might be a simple repair. Reddit and Google's support forums claim that the problem appears as soon as Wear OS 5 is set up on the watch. Some users then have a blank screen with a disconnected Bluetooth icon at the bottom. The Verge and Android Police advise users to do a quick boot reset in order to fix the problem. You should scroll down and select Restart after holding down the watch's crown for three seconds, according to Google. You can try a hard reset if the preceding approach isn't successful in solving the problem with your watch. Press and hold the side button and the watch crown at the same time for approximately 20 seconds to accomplish this. Following this action, the Google logo ought to show up on the screen. Do you still experience issues? Resetting from FastBo...

Unwatchable: The 20 Most Unsettling and Terrifying Films Ever Produced

Mainstream  moviegoers  found  the  Saw  franchise  so  upsetting  that  they  referred  to  it  as  "torture  porn."   Horror movies are inherently frightening and upsetting. The subversive narrative framework that reflects the worst facets of human nature is the foundation of the horror genre. Alternatively, it presents the viewer with a terrifying new vehicle through which to view the world. Maybe the number of horror films produced in a society may be used to determine its level of freedom. Horror films are banned in totalitarian cultures because they subvert great narratives, showing the horrific reality of violence's constant presence, abuse, depravity, and all-too-human inclinations toward revolt.
