8 Outfits That Celebrities Wore Twice but Never Looked the Same

Not so long ago, celebrities followed the unspoken rule of not going out in the same outfit twice in public. But currently, this rule is not so strict, and there are a few reasons for that. First, it’s good for the environment when you don’t change your clothes each time you go out. And second, celebrities know how to wear their outfits in new ways so that no one suspects the repetition.

At dmfmemes, we compared photos of 7 celebrities who went out in public wearing the same outfit a few times. And their tips on how to make a dress unrecognizable can be really useful. In the bonus section, you’ll see some nostalgic memories from Legally Blonde.

Jennifer Lawrence

At first glance, you can’t tell that Jennifer Lawrence is wearing the same dress by Philosophy in both photos. The actress wore it first at The Hollywood Reporter event in 2017. A year later, she decided to wear this dress again to her friend Amy Schumer’s wedding.

Lawrence changed only one detail: she left the top of the dress unbuttoned. “In every wedding photo, all of my buttons were undone. It looks like I was like, ’Oh, you thought this was going to be about you?’” the actress pointed out.

Saoirse Ronan

The leading star of Little Women went even further and made her outfit totally unrecognizable. In 2020, she wore a modest black satin dress during a BAFTA ceremony. With the same black fabric as her BAFTA gown, her tailors created her dress for the Oscars, which had a more dramatic, ruffled silhouette.

Kate Middleton

The Duchess of Cambridge is famous for her skill of “repeating” her outfits but looking different every time. For example, this is how Kate had her old Alexander McQueen dress remade. The first time, she wore it to a BAFTA ceremony in 2017. A couple of years later, Kate decided to wear it again but with a modified neckline.

The Duchess also decided she wasn’t ready to part with her yellow Emilia Wickstead dress. She just added a belt in a matching color, and her gown was as good as new.

Cate Blanchett

At the 2016 BAFTA ceremony, Cate wore an asymmetrical top by Alexander McQueen for the first time, which she combined with a black feather skirt. The same top appeared in fresh colors at the 2020 Venice Film Festival where Kate swapped out her dramatic skirt for some elegant black pants.

Hailey Bieber

The model knows how to always keep things looking different, even in the same brown tracksuit. The first time, she combined it with black accessories, including a hat, a tote bag, and some fluffy slippers. She also casually tucked up her left leg. In the second photo, Haley chose transparent stilettos.

Catherine Zeta-Jones

In October 2006, Catherine Zeta-Jones donned a little black sequin dress to the Glamour Awards. 2 years later, the actress was spotted wearing the same dress, but this time, she combined it with an unusual cape, brooch, and other jewelry.

Sarah Jessica Parker

Carrie Bradshaw’s dresses became iconic as soon as episodes of Sex and the City were released. Sarah Jessica Parker was fond of the heroine’s outfits too. She wore the little dress from the series during a Vogue award ceremony in 1997.

Bonus: Reese Witherspoon

The bubbly actress likes to keep the outfits she receives after filming. To celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of the Legally Blonde movie, she decided to repeat one of her famous outfits. Reese posted a video of her wearing the same striped top and pink cap on her Instagram. And believe it or not, this outfit seems just as trendy nowadays as it was 20 years ago.

Reese even kept her bunny costume from the film. It’s not very likely that she’ll ever wear it in public, but she’s willing to share the nostalgia with her followers.

This latest Pixel Watch update from Google is a bit of a jumble

Joe Maring / Digital Trends The Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2 now have the Wear OS 5 upgrade available from Google. Nevertheless, the update has caused problems for a few customers. Fortunately, it might be a simple repair. Reddit and Google's support forums claim that the problem appears as soon as Wear OS 5 is set up on the watch. Some users then have a blank screen with a disconnected Bluetooth icon at the bottom. The Verge and Android Police advise users to do a quick boot reset in order to fix the problem. You should scroll down and select Restart after holding down the watch's crown for three seconds, according to Google. You can try a hard reset if the preceding approach isn't successful in solving the problem with your watch. Press and hold the side button and the watch crown at the same time for approximately 20 seconds to accomplish this. Following this action, the Google logo ought to show up on the screen. Do you still experience issues? Resetting from FastBo...

Unwatchable: The 20 Most Unsettling and Terrifying Films Ever Produced

Mainstream  moviegoers  found  the  Saw  franchise  so  upsetting  that  they  referred  to  it  as  "torture  porn."   Horror movies are inherently frightening and upsetting. The subversive narrative framework that reflects the worst facets of human nature is the foundation of the horror genre. Alternatively, it presents the viewer with a terrifying new vehicle through which to view the world. Maybe the number of horror films produced in a society may be used to determine its level of freedom. Horror films are banned in totalitarian cultures because they subvert great narratives, showing the horrific reality of violence's constant presence, abuse, depravity, and all-too-human inclinations toward revolt.
