Akshay Kumar's Espionage Thriller 'Bell Bottom' Finally Gets A Release Date

Akshay Kumar has quite a line-up of films in the coming times with Sooryavanshi, Atrangi ReBachchan Pandey and Prithviraj among others. and we just got news about his next espionage thriller ‘Bell Bottom’. And the news is about the film’s release date.

The well-known trade analyst, Taran Adarsh informed that the makers of the film, Pooja Entertainment, have locked in on a release date and it is set to hit the theatres on May 28, 2021.

Bell Bottom, directed by Ranjit M Tewari, is said to be based on the true story of a forgotten war hero set around a 1980s plane hijack. Akshay is set to play a RAW agent and Lara Dutta will be seen essaying the role of former Prime Minister, the late Indira Gandhi. The film also stars Huma Qureshi, Vaani Kapoor, Adil Hussain, among others.

This espionage thriller was one of the first projects to be shot and wrapped up in an international location during the COVID-19 pandemic. They shot in Scotland, United Kingdom and were there from August to October 2020.

The makers also released the teaser in October post the wrap of the film and Akshay looks super cool and crisp in a suit, bell-bottom pants and donning a moustache.
