Ah, yes, it seems like only yesterday that famed TV bastard Jon Snow lost his virginity to wildling Ygritte in a sex cave; now, some eight years later, the couple has welcomed their first child. Game of Thrones co-stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie reportedly brought their newborn on a grocery run in London on Tuesday, while a rep for Harington separately confirmed to E! News that the pair is “very, very happy!” to have become parents.
While the Thrones baby’s name remains under wraps (maybe it is Tormund?), Harington’s camp told E! that it’s a boy. How old is he? Also unclear, but based on photos published in “Page Six,” the baby appears small, so small, very much an infant.
In September, a profile of Leslie that ran in MAKE magazine — or, more precisely, the accompanying photos — made it clear that a baby was coming. The actor subsequently told the New York Post: “I am thrilled to be expecting, and I can’t wait to meet the new member of our family!”
Harington and Leslie married in Scotland, surrounded by basically every Game of Thrones actor imaginable, in 2018, after dating for roughly six years, and after Harington screwed up his proposal. (In what sounds like a nice way, but one that unfortunately did not include the embarrassment of animal pelts present at their first coupling.) And now they have their own tiny wildling, which they could call Hot Pie as a cute nostalgic nickname, but probably won’t. Time flies!
