Sara Ali Khan Puts A Modern Twist On A Victorian Style Blouse

We often spot Sara Ali Khan around the city. She is amongst the top photographed and is always well-dressed. Most times we see her in salwar sets and relaxed kurta styles. And every now and then she throws a curveball our way with a look that completely surprises us. The star experiments quite a bit with colour and styles for promotional events but likes to keep it simple and classy on her personal days. In fact, we spot her in gym wear almost every day.

On the work front, Sara is not too many films old just yet but there’s more to see of her for sure. She even won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut in Kedarnath opposite the late Sushant Singh Rajput. Her last movie Coolie No 1 didn’t do really well, so we’re looking forward to her role in Atrangi Re opposite Akshay Kumar and Dhanush.

Let’s take a closer look at Sara Ali Khan’s modern take on an old trend:

At first glance, you simply notice the statement blouse that Sara Ali Khan is wearing. The white blouse features a high-neck and re-imagined Victorian-style sleeves. Well, you could say that are bishop sleeves with a twist. The top even features a slight peplum effect closer to the hemline and cinches at the waist with an almost corset-like effect. Sara pairs this blouse with a pair of light blue skinny jeans. She plays around with neon pink pops of colour throughout the look with her accessories. A pair of sparkly neon pink hoops and she matches it to her viny strappy shoes. It doesn’t end there, she even matches her nail polish to her accessories.

Sara Ali Khan carries a statement cross-body bag from the Italian brand, Pinko. The mini Love Transparent shoulder bag is crafted with PVC in a quilted-effect. It has a small bird-shaped decoration and metal studs on the flap. The small birds are actually known as the Lovebird ornament and the bag costs approximately 30k rupees. She has her hair in a ponytail and completes her look with kohl-lined eyes and a blue facemask.
