Netflix invites us back into the arena in new Squid Game season 2 trailer

 


Netflix has released a new teaser for Squid Game season 2, which welcomes viewers to return to the arena. The show will return very soon.

The video, which you can view above, shows Gong Yoo's salesman getting ready to enlist more players. He puts on his outfit, gets ready those notorious red and blue packages, and walks out onto the train platform. Get ready for more unsuspecting players in the most lethal games ever imagined...

Gi-hun played by Lee Jung-jae in Squid Game season 1 had resolved to end the bloody games, and based on an earlier teaser, it appears that this would need him returning to the arena. It's unclear how his return will affect him, but he is clearly focused on Lee Byung-hun, the Front Man. The games that we might see are still mostly unknown, but based on season 1, we might anticipate darker takes on kid's games.

The third season of the show, which is expected to be the last in Netflix's most watched series to date, has already been confirmed. Creator Hwang Dong-hyuk stated in the release, "I am beyond excited to be writing this letter to announce the date for Season 2 and share the news of Season 3, the final season." "The fierce clash between [Gi-hun and Front Man's] two worlds will continue into the series finale with Season 3, which will be brought to you next year."
