 This Diwali, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, two of 2024's biggest movies, will compete at the box office, and their respective producers are already taking steps to secure extra screens in the midst of the fight.


PVRInox Pictures was recently announced as Rohit Shetty and Jio Studios' distributor for all of India. A trade source told Pinkvilla that "this would also help them secure 60% showcasing in the multiplexes all across the country."

"The Single Screen owners have already contacted Rohit Shetty and associates about showing Singham Again at their properties, and since it's an action movie set in a preexisting universe, this was expected," the source continued. In addition to their distribution partner promising to exert force with a big release in India, Singham Again is optimistic that they will receive superior showcasing and capacity at an All-India level based on merits, regardless of the match.

But given that Anil Thadani of AA Films is Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3's distributor, things might not be as simple as they look.

According to a source who spoke with the publication, Anil Thadani has made the single screen owners an offer to co-own Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Pushpa 2: The Rule. "Anil Thadani is now preparing for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Pushpa 2, and Game Changer. He has distributed feature films such as Kalki 2898 AD and Devara in 2024. Anil has sent an offer to single screens and non-national chains for a joint team for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Pushpa: The Rule through AA Films in order to guarantee favorable showcasing against rival Rohit Shetty cop universe flick, Singham Again.

"The idea is to maximize and do the best possible deals for the feature films," the person went on. Anil Thadani is presenting Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 to the public using all the appropriate techniques, having launched numerous films in the clash genre.

The two films are competing on Diwali, and the one that does best at the box office will be determined by how well it plays in multiplexes and single screens around India.
