What Google Announces Are The New Video Features For Google Photos

Many new features, such as strong tool improvements and a variety of new AI-powered presets, are going to make video editing much easier with Google Photos. The firm is beginning to roll out three changes to the video editor, including an improved trim tool, a new Auto Enhance button, and a new tool for modifying the playback speed of your videos, as was just stated in an official Google community post.

Google Photos: New And Updated Video Tools

Updated trim tool

You can cut to the action by removing areas from the beginning and finish of your video clip using the trim tool. It is now easier to use and more exact thanks to a makeover. This allows you to compare the new version (right) with the old version (left).

New Auto enhance button

Google's one-tap image upgrades for images, known as Auto Enhance, are now also accessible for videos. When you tap the Auto Enhance icon, improvements like better colors and image stabilization take effect right away. Next, a prompt to save your improved video as a copy will appear, protecting the original. This is fortunate since, in my opinion, the "enhanced" version isn't necessarily more visually appealing. Sometimes it overcorrects colors; for instance, it might make something appear overly white by taking away some of the warm glow from an open fire.

A new speed tool

You may adjust the speed of your video using the speed tool, though it's not obvious how much control you'll have over the speed settings or if the tool would add extra frames to the slow-motion effect to smooth out movement.

Google Photos: New Video Presets

Additionally, Google is releasing video presets with AI capabilities to make editing easier and look better. Although it's unclear how well they perform in actual use, Google claims that the presets will be able to apply many of the current editing tools automatically and carry out more intricate edits, like automatically tracking the video's main subject, focusing in on the action, and managing slow-motion effects.

Google Photos adds new video presets for automatic editing.

We can see settings called Basic cut, Slow-mo, Zoom, and Track in Google's example video. The Slow-mo preset is then demonstrated in the video, highlighting how it automatically brightens the colors, finds the crucial moment in the movie, and adds a slow-motion effect to that portion of the video alone. All of this takes place without the user having to take any further action.

A number of these improvements are now being rolled out after being first revealed in August. They might not show up all at once, though. For instance, my Android device now has Auto Enhance available, but not the Speed tool or presets.

Which Are the Five Love Languages, and How Can They Strengthen Your Bond

Getty Images Every action is a kind of communication, and each relationship has its own lexicon based on the ways in which we express and experience love. Your finest intentions, however, may be entirely misinterpreted if you and your spouse aren't in sync with what you're both attempting to say. Because of this, knowing the five love languages is essential to building a strong and happy marriage, particularly if you and your partner have discovered that your communication styles are different. The question "What are the five love languages?" is raised by this. Pastor Gary Chapman, Ph.D., drew on his years of experience counseling married couples to write The Five Love Languages in 1992. Dr. Chapman outlined five distinct ways in the book for people to express or feel love: verbal affirmations, physical touch, gifts, deeds of service, and quality time. Since then, the idea of a "love language" has proliferated in popular culture, making an appearance in me...
